Avery Brewing

Avery Brewing Company
All Six Packs $11.99/$8.99

Avery has been producing eccentric ales and lagers that defy styles or categories since 1993. Thoroughly American at heart: blending Old World tradition and expertise with ingenuity, creativity and boldness.

India Pale Ale
India Pale Ale (IPA)
In the 1700's one crafty brewer discovered that a healthy dose of hops and an increased alcohol content preserved his ales during the long voyage to India (as depicted in our label) to quench the thirst of British troops. Today, we tip our hat to that historic innovation by brewing Colorado's hoppiest pale ale. Avery IPA demands to be poured into your favorite glass to truly appreciate the citrusy, floral bouquet and the rich, malty finish.

Redpoint Ale (Amber)
Redpoint Ale (Amber)
Some beer lovers enjoy a rich, malty brew, while others go more for hoppy beers. Our brewmaster likes both - as evidenced by this rich and caramelly amber ale with the distinct flavor and bouquet of Cascade hops. Reaching the perfect balance of crystal malt sweetness and hop bitterness took plenty of time and effort, making Redpoint the perfect beer for toasting your most recent success.
Out of Bounds Stout (Irish Dry Stout)
Out of Bounds Stout
(Irish Dry Stout)
This big, roasty stout takes flavor to the extreme. We aren't afraid to use plenty of rich roasted barley and a mountain of hops to give this full-bodied stout that little extra something you've been looking for in a beer.
Farmhouse Ale
Farmhouse Ale
Brewed with Rocky Mountain water, malted barley, malted wheat, hops, black mission figs, hibiscus flowers, white pepper, and a very unique strain of brettanomyces yeast.
Karma Ale (Belgian Pale Ale)
Karma Ale (Belgian Pale Ale)

We believe in Karma. We suspect most of you do, too. It truly is a global concept. Very simply put, "you get what you give." Inspired by this principle and the wonderful farmhouse and pale ales of Belgium, we've created Karma Ale, a decidedly fruity and estery ale, intricate in body and nose, all driven by a unique Belgian yeast strain. Remember, good things DO happen to good people. Here's to being good!

14'ER ESB (Extra Special / Strong Bitter)
14'ER ESB
Named for the 54 Colorado peaks which tower over 14,000 feet in elevation, our session beer is a spectacular copper hued beauty. The treatment of our water to simulate English hard water and the blending of several specialty malts and hops produce a delicate balance between aromatic maltiness and herbal hops.
New World Porter
New World Porter
A traditional black porter, with a surprise twist - it's dry-hopped!! We've expanded the porter category a bit, adding a delightful, dry hop aroma to blend with the sweet caramel and chocolate characteristics of a Robust Porter.
Ellie's Brown Ale
Ellie's Brown Ale
This beautiful, deep russet brew has the sweet and somewhat nutty character of Adam Avery's late (1992-2002) Chocolate Lab, for which it is named. Crystal and chocolate malts give this beer a brown sugar maltiness with hints of vanilla and nuts, while subtle hopping gives it an overall drinkability that's second to none, just like Ellie!
White Rascal (Witbier)
White Rascal (Witbier)
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that's yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

Holy Sheet Über Abbey Ale
Holy Sheet Über Abbey Ale
Malty sweetness with cherry candy notes. Hop bitterness and flavor are mild and really only show up in the finish where they try in vain to balance the malt sweetness. On the palate it has a slightly thin feel for the sweetness and nice average carbonation.
Loose Cannon - American Hop3 Ale
Loose Cannon
American Hop3 Ale
Burnished gold with a rich citrus hop aroma, it is wonderfully drinkable with a big hop flavor. We’ve knicknamed it Hop3 (hop cubed) ale to reflect the enormous amount of hops in this beer: over 3 pounds per barrel! It is hopped 3 ways: in the kettle, in the hop back, and dry hopped. Pairs well with strong cheeses and steak. Approx 7.25% ABV
Peg Leg – Imperial Stout
Peg Leg – Imperial Stout
Deep mahogany in color with aromas of roasted coffee, molasses and dark chocolate. Subtly hopped, making it astonishingly smooth and easy drinking for such a big beer. Pairs well with blue cheeses, beef and chocolate desserts. Approx 8% ABV
Small Craft Warning – Über Pils
Small Craft Warning
Über Pils
Pale in color and rich in malt flavor. With firm structure of noble hops it is both powerful and complex. Pairs well with chicken and fish. Available Seasonally. Approx 7% ABV
Red Sky at Night - Belgian Style Saison Ale

Our winter ale brewed with copious helpings of English malts and both U.S. and English hops making it a ruddy hued Imperial ESB in style. Anchor Bock Beer, released in celebration of the coming of spring, is an ancient and mysterious part of the brewing tradition. Over time, the term “bock” has come to mean a beer darker and stronger than the brewery's “regular” brew. We hope you will find Anchor Bock to be a rich and flavorful addition to our other offerings. San Francisco's Anchor Bock Beer is virtually handmade by the brewers of Anchor Steam® Beer, in one of the most traditional small breweries in the world.
